Background Information

A Virtual Enterprise provides a learning environment, which enhance the development of business skills, technical skills and interpersonal skills. It is a simulated business that is set up and run by students with support from a teacher / facilitator and a real business. At present there are about 3,000 Virtual Enterprises throughout the world. The concept of Virtual Enterprises was endorsed by the 1996 APEC Forum. The project aims to develop a Network of Virtual Enterprises among secondary schools and colleges in Hong Kong, in three phases from June 1999 to July 2001.

What is Virtual Enterprise ?
